The Mishima Skywalk is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Japan where you can enjoy unrestricted panoramic views of the western slopes of Mt. Fuji and the Izu Mountains. The bridge is 1,312 feet long, 232 feet high and 5.2 feet wide. The suspension tower stands at an impressive 144 feet high. Odawara Castle was originally built in the mid-15th century and soon fell into the hands of the Hojo Clan, one of the most powerful clans during the Warring States Era. In 1590 Toyotomi Hideyoshi attacked the castle, and with the defeat of the Hojo Clan, reunited Japan. The interior features exhibit on the history of the castle as well as displays of items such as armors and swords.
