Lake Kawaguchi is the most popular and developed of the Fuji Five Lakes. The area is home to lakeside resorts, hotels, restaurants, cafes, water sports facilities, camp sites and sightseeing cruises. On the north bank of the lake is Oishi Park, surrounded by summer lavender and lush cypress and more than 90 species of flowers. On our return back, we’ll stop by the Fujisan Herb Garden, where 200 kinds of herbs and flowers greets visitors year-round. You can enjoy cherry blossoms and azaleas in the spring, lavender in early summer, autumn colors in the fall and the variety of plants growing in the greenhouse.
